The Borough of Highlands is now accepting applications for seasonal employment as snow laborers. Applications are available at the Highlands Borough Hall, 42 Shore Drive, Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm.
Volunteer Hours Reimbursement
10/29/17 On this 5 year anniversary of Sandy, the Borough is pleased to announce FEMA has approved a reimbursement for volunteer hours during and after the storm in the amount of approx. $66,000. These funds will go into the storm trust fund.

The Department of Environmental Protection and officials in the Two Rivers region of northeastern Monmouth County are encouraging the public to identify buildings and other facilities in their communities that should be part of focused flood-resiliency planning efforts. Please see the flyer attached.
Borough Calendars
Borough Calendars with lots of information about meetings, clubs, events, schools, trash days and so much more are at the Office, 42 Shore Drive, and the Community Center, 22 Snug Harbor. You can pick them up during business hours 8:30am-4:30pm. Next year, the calendar will be mailed to all households in January of 2018.

Transportation for our Veterans (pdf)
The Monmouth County Division of Transportation provides service to the Tinton Falls VA Clinic. Appointments must be scheduled 7 days in advance. There is no charge for this service. Please click "more" for schedule for Brick, East Orange, Lyons.
