The mission of the Highlands Police Department is to improve public safety for all those we serve through professional police services, proactive problem solving, and community policing. We will do so by promoting public safety and crime prevention through education and community partnerships. To reduce crime and the fear of crime, we will use data driven approaches and innovative technology to identify and predict future criminal activity. At all times we will respect the legal rights of all individuals by providing efficient, impartial, and courteous service.

As Chief of Police I am honored to work alongside our dedicated officers and civilian personnel to ensure that both residents and visitors have a safe place to live, work, and play. We provide municipal policing services to our approximately 5,000 residents and our success comes from the strong partnership we have built with the community.

Public safety is our top priority, and the men and women of the Highlands Police Department strive to provide exceptional services while maintaining a high level of integrity. Our officers are highly motivated, well trained professionals who work diligently to keep Highlands safe and enjoyable.
