Flash Flood Warning issued July 25 at 4:29PM EDT until July 25 at 8:15PM EDT by NWS Mount Holly NJ

July 25, 2023, at 4:30:44 PM EDT

At 429 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional 1 to 2 inches of rainfall is possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD…Life-threatening flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

Some locations that may experience flash flooding include… Long Branch, Middletown, Howell, Tinton Falls, Holmdel, Red Bank, Highlands, Farmingdale, Lincroft, Collingwood Park, Navesink, and East Freehold. This includes the following highways… Interstate 195 in New Jersey between mile markers 27 and 29. Garden State Parkway between mile markers 103 and 115.
