Governor Murphy has signed Executive Order 219. You can download the full text of the order here.
The EO increases the indoor capacity limits from 25% to 35% for food or beverage establishments, including restaurants, cafeterias, private non-profit clubs, and food courts, with or without a liquor license, and bars; entertainment and recreational businesses, including casinos and gyms; and personal care services, including barber shops and nail salons – effective Friday Feb. 5, at 8 am. The EO also lifts the 10:00pm curfew for indoor restaurant service, however local officials may still regulate the hours of operation of indoor restaurant service and indoor operations of other non-essential businesses after 8:00pm. Please note that the prohibition on seating at indoor bar areas remains in effect.
