The Borough of Highlands and the Highlands First Aid Squad are joining forces to bring Hometown Hero banners to Highlands for Memorial Day 2024. Our goal is to get 40 banners for each of our lampposts along Bay Avenue.
Sponsorship for a banner is $200 each for the banner and hardware. Total fundraising goal for the Hometown Hero Banner Project is $8,000. Banners will be hung between Memorial Day and Veterans Day. At the end of each season, the banner is returned to the family for safe keeping until the next Memorial Day.
