School-Age Child Care Assistance Deadline

The New Jersey School-Age Tuition Assistance Program can help you pay for child care for your school-age child. New Jersey residents with a child attending school remotely and an annual household income of $150,000 or less can apply online. The last day to submit applications is Monday, December 7th. Tuition assistance will be paid directly to your selected licensed or registered child care provider through Wednesday, December 30th. A Vaccine Is On The Way

New Jersey has been working on plans for vaccine distribution since March 2020. Now, NJ hospitals are pre-positioning to receive the first shipments of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine. The first distribution will include roughly 76,000 doses and New Jersey will be situated to begin providing vacations once the vaccine receives emergency use authorization from the FDA. Learn more about New Jersey’s phased vaccination plan and how it aims to provide equitable access to a vaccine, achieve maximum community protection, and build public trust.


PPE Access Program – Deadline Approaching Soon

Businesses with 100 or fewer employees can apply for discounts of nearly 70 percent off the cost of PPE through the NJ Small and Micro Business PPE Access Program. All businesses are eligible for 10 percent discounts. Discounts are valid until Thursday, December 10th. For more information, visit covid19.nj.gov/ppeaccess.


Indoor and Outdoor Gatherings Limited

Effective Monday, December 7th, general outdoor gatherings are limited to 25 people. As of Tuesday, November 17th, general indoor gatherings are limited to 10 people. For more information on gathering limits, including exceptions for wedding ceremonies, funerals and memorial services, religious and political activities, and addiction support groups, visit the COVID-19 Information Hub.


Indoor Sports Paused

Effective Saturday, December 5th, all indoor youth and adult sports practices and competitions – including group, competitive, and organized sports activities will be prohibited until Saturday, January 2nd, 2021. The only exceptions are for collegiate and professional sports teams. Private fitness classes, lessons, and trainings at gyms, studios, and similar locations are permitted to continue. Learn more about sports guidelines in New Jersey, including guidance for outdoor competitions and tournaments.
