NOTICE is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held for the purpose of receiving comments on an application to the County of Monmouth for Open Space Trust Funds under the Monmouth County Municipal Open Space Grant Program. The Public Hearing will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at the Highlands Borough Community Center located at 22 Snug Harbor Avenue, Highlands, NJ 07732 during a public meeting beginning at 7:00 p.m. at which time all persons who may be interested therein will be given opportunity to be heard. Written comments may also be submitted to the Municipal Clerk prior to the hearing date and time.
Grant Application Contents: The project is referred to as Improvements to Overlook Park. The Borough of Highlands desires to obtain County Open Space Trust Funds to fund the renovations of the park (Block 11.01, Lot 40) on New Jersey Route 36 to be utilized by the public.
